Today I am excited to announce Greptile's biggest update ever 💥
Greptile is the AI code review bot loved by over 3,000 software teams across the world.
We're launching five things today:
- Long-term memory for the code review agent so it can intelligently learn your company's idiosyncrasies
- Ability to integrate connect Jira, Google Docs, and Notion via MCP so Greptile can have more context
- Highly scoped rules to apply custom logic only where it matters
- A simpler, more predictable pricing model of flat $30/month/developer.
- A full redesign of our web app and website
Let's dive in 🧵
1. Long-term memory
If Greptile sees many of your team members commenting "Use loops instead of list comprehension", it will learn that and start commenting that too.
This means your review culture and stylistic preferences become part of the assistant's decision-making process—without you having to spell them out every time. It's like giving your AI reviewer onboarding docs and letting it learn over time.

2. Add context sources via MCP
By connecting your Jira, Greptile can search for and read the original Jira ticket associated with the pull request, and confirm that the PR implements everything that was specified.
Similarly, it can search your Notion for relevant docs, your Google Drive for design documents, and many more. This added context ensures the bot understands why the code was written—not just how.

3. Highly scoped rules
Greptile now gives you far more control over your custom rules and context.
You can create a rule like "use prop types for type checking" and apply it to TypeScript files only in certain repos, certain directories, or matching certain patterns.
This means more relevant comments, less noise, and review standards that reflect the nuances of your codebase.

4. Simplified pricing
We're moving away from our capped usage-based pricing to a simple $30/developer/month model.
This makes Greptile up to 40% cheaper for teams pushing enormous amounts of code (high-velocity startups, for example), while also making costs more predictable as your team grows.

5. A Brand New Look
We also redesigned both the Greptile web app and website from the ground up.
The new design is cleaner, faster, and more intuitive—built to help you get in, get context, and review code without friction. Whether you're onboarding a new engineer or scanning through dozens of pull requests, the experience is now faster and more delightful.
You'll notice sharper visuals, better dark mode support, and a design that emphasizes what matters most: helping your team ship faster.
