What credits pay for
With Auto, you pay for the tier that ran. See Review tiers.
CLI reviews cost the same as pull request reviews. The free plan doesn’t include them.
A TREX run costs 3 credits on top of the review. It’s charged only when at least one flow reaches a pass or fail. If TREX fails or returns nothing readable, you pay only for the review.
Only completed reviews spend credits.
Buy credits
In Settings → Billing, click Buy credits, or turn on Automatic recharge to buy credits whenever your balance runs low. When credits run out, new reviews pause until you add more.Excluding bots
Excluded authors are not reviewed, so they spend no credits. Greptile excludes common bots such asdependabot[bot] and renovate[bot] by default.

In Settings → Code Review → Greptile Review Configuration, exclude the author in every Filters rule that allows reviews. Greptile reviews a PR when any rule matches.
